On Wednesday, Boston's backcourt lit the Chicago Bulls up en route to a Game 5 victory. Guards Avery Bradley and Isaiah Thomas scored 24 points each, with Bradley shooting 11-of-19 from the field and Thomas going a perfect 11-of-11 from the free-throw line. Center Al Horford, meanwhile, scored an additional 21 points to go with seven rebounds and a team-high nine assists. As a team, Boston went a perfect 23-of-23 from the free-throw line, helping to make up for its 43 percent shooting.
On Chicago's side, veteran Dwyane Wade scored a team-high 26 points to go along with 11 rebounds and eight assists. The near triple-double was not enough for the Bulls, however. Superstar forward Jimmy Butler went 6-of-14 for only 14 points, and the team committed 16 turnovers on the night.
