LeFevour signed a contract to be the backup with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Jeff Hamilton of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.

The 29-year-old was brought in to serve as the backup for starter Matt Nichols, who started 15 games for the Blue Bombers in 2016. LeFevour has had a relatively uneventful career up until this point, throwing more interceptions (12) than touchdowns (11) in parts of four seasons in the league.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

LeFevour came off the bench in the third quarter Saturday, completing 11 of 16 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown while throwing one interception in a 29-11 loss to the Roughriders

Starter Drew Willy led the Argos to exactly zero points while he was in the game, forcing coach Scott Milanovich to make the switch, but LeFevour didn't generate much offense either. There's no word yet on which QB the Argos will use next Friday in Calgary, but whoever it is will be a low-ceiling fantasy option at best.

LeFevour completed 13 of 19 passes for 72 yards and an interception before getting replaced early in the second half by Drew Willy in Friday's loss to the Redblacks.

The Argos managed just three points in the first two quarters with LeFevour at the helm, prompting the switch to the newly acquired Willy. Expect LeFevour to return to the bench going forward unless Willy gets hurt.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

LeFevour will start at quarterback in Friday's game against the Redblacks, Chris O'Leary of the Toronto Star reports.

Recent acquisition Drew Willy will have to wait at least another week before making his Argonauts debut, as LeFevour will receive another start following his four-touchdown performance last week against the Blue Bombers. LeFevour has produced in two games since taking over for the injured Ricky Ray (lung), totaling 600 yards and five scores through the air, while adding 96 yards on the ground.

LeFevour completed 22 of 34 passes for 271 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions in Saturday's 46-29 loss to the Blue Bombers. He also gained 57 yards on 10 rushes.

The 29-year-old signal-caller was solid once again in his second start of 2016, a week after having thrown for 329 yards against the Ti-Cats. LeFevour completed passes to seven different receivers, while also turning in an extremely productive performance on the ground. The veteran now has five touchdowns over his first two games, but has also thrown four interceptions over that span. LeFevour will try to keep his largely solid play going when the Argos visit the Redblacks in a Week 14 tilt.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

LeFevour will be the Argonauts' starting quarterback Saturday against the Blue Bombers, TSN reports.

The Argonauts traded a first-round pick and more for former Blue Bombers starter Drew Willy over the weekend, but he will not immediately jump into the starting lineup, as LeFevour will remain under center following a quality showing in the Argonauts' Week 12 victory over the Tiger-Cats. Last week's game was just LeFevour's second in two seasons, so he will likely need another strong effort to have any hope of holding onto the job with Willy waiting in the wings.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

LeFevour completed 27 of 36 passes for 329 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions in Sunday's win over the Tiger-Cats. He also added 39 rushing yards.

It was a strong first start with the Argos for LeFevour, although the INTs are a little bit concerning. He'll face a tough test Saturday in Winnipeg against a Blue Bombers' squad that's won six straight games and allowed 21.7 points a game, the second-base mark in the league.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

LaFevour is set to take over as the Argonauts' starting quarterback with Ricky Ray likely out for the season with a punctured lung, Joey Alfieri of TSN 690 reports.

The Argonauts have not confirmed that Ray is out for the season, but even if he is not, he will almost certainly miss time with his lung injury. Enter LeFevour, who just signed with the Argonauts in late August. He does have 46 career CFL games under his belt, but has totaled only 141 pass attempts -- including just one since the end of the 2014 season -- so he does not have much of a track record to look back on. Regardless, he will be counted on to produce for a Toronto squad that is 4-6 but is just a game and a half out of first place.
